Main Contribution to CORSAIR
As worldwide leader in the Auxiliary and power gearboxes, Avio Aero is interested in the evaluation of new repair technologies applicable to the main structural components made in light weight alloys. In the Corsair program Avio Aero will be the responsible for the definition and selection of the components and the areas of the components to be repaired with the cold spray technology, the procurement of representative parts to be evaluated, the selection of the materials to be tested, the definition of the testing parameters, the definition of acceptance criteria and the evaluation of the test results.
